A Search Committee Prayer
Almighty and Gracious God, throughout history you have brought to your people, leaders who have guided them in times of change and transition, and you have formed St. Paul’s as a loving and searching community in Christ. Assist us in the discernment of your will as we seek a spiritual leader, for this your parish family. Open our hearts and minds, that we may see this process as one that can deepen our sense of community, provide us with spiritual growth, and draw us closer to you. May you open the heart and mind of the one you call to lead this congregation, so that we receive a faithful rector, who will nurture and encourage growth in our mission, ministries, and faith journeys in the name of Christ. Amen.
