Dear St. Paul's,

During this week, students throughout the area will be taking the EOGs (End-of-Grade Tests). This is an important milestone in their development as they continue the lifelong journey of learning -- and lifelong it is. Learning never ceases and the opportunities to grow intellectually and experientially are forever available to us. With this prayer, may all of our students at St. Paul's who will be taking these tests know that they are supported and loved by their fellow parishioners and by God.
Join me each day throughout the week in saying this prayer on their behalf.
Peace to you all, our young sisters and brothers in Christ.
Fr. Brad

Prayer for students taking EOGs

God Almighty who has the whole world in his hands,

we ask that you send your angels

to comfort all students partaking in the EOGs this week.

Where there is nervousness, give to them your peace;

where there is fear, give to them your courage;

where there is restlessness, give to them your calm;

where there is pride, give to them your humility and confidence.

They have studied and prepared so well.

We know they are ready.

Help them to know that too.

And above all, help them to know

that the reason they are loved and valued

is not because of a score on a test or a letter grade,

but because of who they are as your children;

nothing can ever take that away – nothing.

To you we pray, our Father who is with us always and everywhere. Amen
