A Message from the 2012 Vestry
The vestry would like to thank each and every member of St. Paul's who prayerfully considered pledging to the church for 2012. Because of your stewardship we are able to enter the 2012 year with a balanced, although lean budget. For this we are grateful because much of what the vestry does centers around the daily operations of the church and fiscal responsibility. We consider a pledge to be akin to a promise, but realize that circumstances can change during the course of a year that could possibly cause a pledge to increase or decrease. If this is the case please contact the treasurer, Henry Jenkins or the bookkeeper, Sarah Palmer. Neither the vestry, nor Fr. Brad, nor the finance committee are privy to individual pledge amounts.
Again, we thank you for giving so generously of your "time, talent, and treasure" to St. Paul's. Your pledge is vitally important to the church. As always it is an honor to serve on the vestry and please know that your thoughts and concerns are always welcomed.
Peace,
The 2012 Vestry

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I present our new Senior Warden, Susan Norwood, and our new Junior Warden, Julius Nimmons. Please extend to them all of your support and love as they take on these ministries. Thank you Susan and Julius for your willingness to serve and thank you Vestry for your discernment, care, and leadership of St. Paul's.

Parish Hall Renovations
Hello All,
This is just a notice to remind you that there will be renovations on the parish hall ceiling beginning Monday, January 9th, and continuing through Friday, January 20th. There will be no parish activities going on in the hall during this time, due to safety concerns. If you need to make alternate scheduling arrangements for any meetings or gatherings, please contact me either by phone or email.
Dear St. Paul’s Men’s Group,
The time has finally come and we will be starting the Parish Hall refurbishment project next Monday (January 9th). We need to clear the entire Parish Hall in order to give the contractors room to work. The plan is to move all of the furniture, tables and chairs to one of the Sunday School rooms just like we did for the Centennial Celebration immediately after coffee hour this Sunday.
Please reply to Scott Rushing at srushing@bradfordbrothers.com or 704-517-0743 if you can help on Sunday.
Hopefully with enough help the move should not take more than 30 minutes.
Thanks,
Scott
Reminder
Don’t forget to stop by and pick up your Christmas poinsettia!
The parish office is open from 9am—12:30pm, Monday—Friday, so feel free to drop by during those times, or take your poinsettia with you after church on Sunday.
Thank you!
